ClimateRock (CLRCU) Prices $75M IPO

ClimateRock priced its $75 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “CLRCU” Thursday, April 28, 2022.

The new SPAC intends to acquire a target within the sustainable energy industry in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (“OECD”) countries, including climate change, environment, renewable energy and emerging, clean technologies. ClimateRock is led by CEO Per Regnarsson, Executive Chairman Charles Ratelband V, and CFO Abhishek Bawa.

Total SPAC deal count for 2022 year-to-date is now 60. This offering is expected to close on Monday, May 2.

Maxim Group LLC is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering. Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with ArentFox Schiff LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. UHY LLP serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
