Metals Acquisition Corp. announced the pricing of its $250 million IPO and its shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “MTAL.U” Thursday, July 29.

The new SPAC aims to combine with a target with a strong track record of environmental stewardship and engagement with local stakeholders. Metals is led by CEO Michael (Mick) James McMullen, CFO Marthinus (Jaco) J. Crouse, CDO Dan Vujcic and Chair nominee Patrice E. Merrin.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 385. This offering is expected to close on Monday, August 2.

Citigroup is serving as the sole book-running manager for the offering. Paul Hastings LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. Marcum LLP serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
