Angel Pond Holdings Corporation (POND.U) Prices Downsized $250M IPO

Angel Pond Holdings Corp. announced the pricing of its downsized $250 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “POND.U” Tuesday, May 18.

The new SPAC aims to combine with an e-commerce, software, cloud computing, or fintech target in China or one of its neighbors. Angel Pond is led by co-founder, Chairman and CEO Theodore T. Wang, co-founded Shihuang Xie and CFO Hanchen Jin.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 321. This offering is expected to close on Thursday, May 20.


Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC and J.P. Morgan are acting as the joint book-running managers of the offering. Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. Malone Bailey, LLP serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
