Peridot Acquisition Corp. II (PDOT.U) Prices Upsized $360M IPO

Peridot Acquisition Corp. II announced the pricing of its upsized $360 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “PDOT.U,” Tuesday, March 9.

Peridot Acquisition Corp. II intends to focus on environmentally sound infrastructure, industrial applications and disruptive technologies that eliminate or mitigate GHG emissions and/or enhance resilience to climate change. The company is being led by Chairman of the Board Tomas Ackerman and Chief Executive Officer and Director Preston Powell.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 229. This offering is expected to close on Thursday, March 11.

UBS Securities LLC and Barclays Capital Inc. acted as joint book running managers for the offering.  Kirkland & Ellis LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. WithumSmith+Brown, PC serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
