Alpha Capital Acquisition Company (ASPCU) Prices $200M IPO
Alpha Capital Acquisition Company announced the pricing of its $200 million IPO this evening and its units are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “ASPCU,” Friday, February 19.
The new company aims to combine with a high-quality technology business in Latin America with a recession-resilient business model. Alpha Capital is led by CEO and Chairman Alec Oxenford, President Rafael Steinhauser, CFO Rahim Lakhani, and Chief Strategy Officer Alfredo Capote.
Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 160 with a total of $48.3 billion in proceeds raised. This offering is expected to close on Tuesday, February 23.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and BofA Securities, Inc. are serving as book-running managers for this offering. Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Shearman & Sterling LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. WithumSmith+Brown, PC serves as auditor.
