Quantum FinTech Acquisition Corporation (QFTA.U) Prices Upsized $175M IPO

Quantum FinTech Acquisition Corporation announced the pricing of its upsized $175 million IPO this evening and its units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “QFTA.U” Friday, February 5.

The new company aims to combine with a fintech business that promotes financial inclusion and operates a superior unit economic model to peers. Quantum is led by Chairman and CEO John Schaible, CFO Miguel Leon and Daniel Caamano V.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 108 with $31.3 billion in gross proceeds raised. This offering is expected to close on Tuesday, February 9.
