SVF Investment Corp. (SVFAU) Prices $525M IPO

SVF Investment Corp. announced the pricing of its $525 million IPO this evening and its units are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “SVFAU” Friday, January 8.

SVF Investment Corp., which is sponsored by Softbank Investment Advisers (“SBIA”), the investment manager to the SoftBank Vision Funds, intends to target a technology-enabled business in sectors such as mobile communications technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud technologies, software broadly, and computational biology. SVF Investment Corp is led by Chariman and CEO Rajeev Misra, and CFO Navneet Govil.

Total SPAC deal count for 2021 year-to-date is now 15 with $3.7 billion in gross proceeds raised. This offering is expected to close on Tuesday, January 12.


Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., and Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. are acting as book-running managers in the offering. Kirkland & Ellis LLP is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. Marcum LLP serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company LLC is acting as trustee.
