Climate Change Crisis Real Impact I Acquisition Corporation (CLII.U) Prices $200M IPO

Climate Change Crisis Real Impact I Acquisition Corporation announced the pricing of its $200 million IPO this evening and the units are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “CLII.U” tomorrow, Wednesday, September 30.

The company aims to combine with a target whose growth will reduce carbon emissions such as renewable energy, grid technology or electric vehicles (EV). Climate Change I is led by CEO and Director David W. Crane, CFO John A. Cavalier, CCO Elizabeth Comstock, COO Anne Frank-Shapiro, and Chairperson Mary Powell.

Total SPAC deal count for 2020 year-to-date is now 114 with $43.3 billion in gross proceeds raised. This offering is expected to close on Friday, October 2.
