Foley Trasimene Acquisition Corp. (WPF.U) Prices Upsized $900M SPAC IPO

Foley Trasimene Acquisition Corp. (WPF.U), announced the pricing of their upsized $900 million SPAC IPO this evening and the units are expected to begin trading tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27th, under the symbol NYSE: WPF.U.

Foley Trasimene Acquisition Corp. will be sponsored by Bilcar FT, LP, an affiliate of Bilcar Limited Partnership, and Trasimene Capital FT, LP, an affiliate of Trasimene Capital Management, LLC, both led by William P. Foley, who will be this SPAC’s Executive Chairman. Mr. Foley will be joined by Richard Massey, as CEO.

Total SPAC deal count for 2020 year-to-date is now 28 with $9.161 billion in gross proceeds raised. The offering is anticipated to close on Friday, May 29, 2020.

Credit Suisse Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and BofA Securities are acting as joint book-running managers for this offering. Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP were Issuer’s Counsel and Underwriter’s Counsel, respectively. WithumSmith+Brown, PC acted as auditor.
