Executive Officers

Gary Ka Leung Chan, 48
Chief Executive Officer and Director

Gary Chan is the founder of the CFO (HK) Limited, also known as CFO Centre in Hong Kong/China, and has served as Chief Executive Officer of Greater China since 2014. He was the Corporate Finance Director for TNG (Asia) Limited, a Hong Kong based FinTech company, from 2015 to 2017. He led the company’s corporate finance exercise and the successful application of the Stored Value Facility (SVF) license granted by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). Before he joined TNG (Asia) Limited, Mr. Chan was a partner at Creat Capital Company Limited, an investment fund that focused on cross-border private equity opportunities between China and the rest of the world under a joint venture with RIT Capital Partners plc, from 2009 to 2013. From 2007 to 2009, he was in Goldman Sachs’ fixed income team in Hong Kong specializing in private investments across Asia. Mr. Chan worked on Deloitte’s restructuring and corporate finance teams in Hong Kong from 2001 to 2007. He started his career with KPMG in Canada in 1998, where he practiced accounting and auditing in its real estate division. Mr. Chan currently holds an independent, non-executive director role at LHN Group (HKEX:1730; SGX:410) and serves as a director of E&E Consulting Limited. Mr. Chan obtained his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Waterloo. He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in Canada in 2000.


Kelvin Ka Ming Sze, 39
Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board

Kelvin Sze has approximately 18 years of experience in asset management, hedge funds and leading investment banks across various investment products in global markets. He was most recently Head of Macro Trading in Hong Kong at Barclays, where he also served as an executive officer for HKMA regulated activities, managing the bank’s offshore North Asian emerging markets trading businesses, starting from 2015 to April 2021. From 2013 to 2015, he managed the Asia Macro Fund for Trinitus Asset Management in Hong Kong, trading primarily currency and interest rate derivatives, corporate cash bonds, and equity derivatives. Before Trinitus, Mr. Sze was a market maker at Bank of America’s and Merrill Lynch’s emerging market fixed-income, currencies and interest rate derivatives in Hong Kong and New York from 2007 to 2013. He started his career at BlackRock in 2003 as an investment analyst, where he was responsible for portfolio analytics, market risk management, and quantitative investment strategies in alternative investments in New York. Mr. Sze serves as a director of Power Wealth Development Limited and EFFIONE, Inc. Mr. Sze holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Mr. Sze is also a member of Central4Change, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering local youth in Hong Kong.

George Chu, 45
Independent Director Nominee

Mr. Chu is the founder of FiO Technology, a SaaS platform that helps businesses and individuals, and has served as its Chief Executive Officer since 2019. Prior to FiO, in 2008, Mr. Chu co-founded ChinaNet (NASDAQ: CNET), a precision advertising and marketing service platform that has since disrupted the advertising landscape in China, and served in a variety of roles such as President and Chief Operating Officer until 2020. From 2007 to 2009, he served as Head of Northern China Business Operations at DaChan Food (Asia) Limited. He worked in Royal Bank of Canada’s Portfolio Asset Management in Canada and the United States from 2003 to 2007. Mr. Chu co-founded EdgeMatrix, a startup that pioneered the world’s first mobile browser, in 2000 and worked there until 2003. He began his career at KPMG in 1998. Mr. Chu also founded Grocery.com in 1998 while finishing his undergraduate degree. Mr. Chu has served as a director of Way In Limited since 2019 and as a director of InfiniumOne Capital Limited, ZW Data Action Technology Inc., InfiniumOne Inc., AiO Technology Reserve Pte. Ltd., DC Universe Investment Limited, Peerless Aurora Ltd., and Unique Idea International Ltd. since 2018. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, and an Executive MBA from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. Mr. Chu also has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Management Information System/Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.


David Wang, 38
Independent Director Nominee

Mr. Wang co-founded Helicap Pte. Ltd., one of the first FinTech fund management investment platforms focused on the alternative lending space in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Australia, in 2018 and has since served as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wang founded the tech-focused investment firm 33 Capital Group Limited in 2016, where he remains a director as of the date hereof. He has also served as a director of 33 Ventures Pte. Ltd. since 2017. Prior to founding 33 Capital, Mr. Wang worked in investment banking, asset management, sales and trading, private wealth management, and mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and Nomura from 2007 to 2016. Mr. Wang graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with Honors from the National University of Singapore’s University Scholars Program. He also holds a certification in FinTech Future Commerce from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Jeffrey Yang, 29
Independent Director Nominee

Mr. Yam has served as a member of the board of directors for Forbes Media, a world-leading business media brand that published content globally via digital channels and print, since 2017. Mr. Yam is currently an Executive Director at Hong Kong-based investment firm, Integrated Capital, overlooking private equity and venture capital investments. He joined the firm in January 2017. Prior to joining Integrated Capital, Mr. Yam worked in the investment banking division at BNP Paribas in Hong Kong, where he worked on IPO and mergers and acquisitions transactions, from 2015 to 2016. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, he worked at the private banking division of Credit Suisse in Hong Kong in 2015. Mr. Yam has served on the boards of directors of Integrated Capital India Fintech Limited (BVI), Integrated Capital Growth Fund 1 (Cayman), MCG Management Limited (Cayman), Merchant Capital Global Management Limited (Cayman), and Quantalytics Holdings, LLC (US) since 2019. Since 2018, Mr. Yam has served on the boards of directors of Integrated Capital Growth Limited (Cayman), Sunshine Teahouse Limited (India), Forbes Technologies Pvt Limited (India), Forbes Media Hong Kong Limited (HK), and Forbes IP (HK) Limited (HK). Since 2016, he has been a director of Merchant Capital (Asia) Limited (HK) and Merchant Capital Global Limited (BVI). Mr. Yam holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from Boston University Questrom School of Business, majoring in finance.
