Kai Zhou, 29
Chief Executive Officer and Chairmain of the Board

Mr. Kai Zhou also serves as the chairman of the board, director, and chief technology officer of Waton Financial Limited (“Waton Financial”). Since March 2021, Mr. Zhou has served as the Director of Waton Financial, where he is responsible for formulating the business strategy and leading the board to achieve business objectives. With his extensive knowledge and experience in the financial services and technology industry, including private equity funds, securities trading, asset management, and fintech services, Mr. Zhou has played a crucial role in the success of Waton Financial. According to an independent industry report issued by Frost & Sullivan, Waton Financial is a top-five B2B fintech service provider for small and medium brokers in Asia–Pacific (excluding mainland China) in 2022. In addition to his role at Waton Financial, Mr. Zhou serves as an executive Director and general manager of Shenzhen Peach Education Limited, a career education and training company, since 2023 and the Chief Executive Officer of Shenzhen Jinhui Technology Limited, a software development company for financial and internet businesses in China, since September 2018. He held the positions of Vice President and then Chief Executive Officer at Shenzhen Hurricane Digital Asset Management Co., Ltd., an asset management company in China, from December 2017 to June 2018. Mr. Zhou received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Toronto in November 2017.

Huaxin Wen, 45
Chief Financial Officer and Director

Mr. Wen also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Waton Financial for which he is primarily responsible for the accounting, financial and treasury management and internal control functions. Mr. Wen has over 20 years of accounting and finance experience. Prior to joining us, Mr. Wen served as the Chief Financial Officer of Bitdeer Technologies Group (Nasdaq: BTDR), a technology company for the cryptocurrency mining community, from April 2021 to June 2023. From December 2014 to April 2021, he served as a financial controller of Fangdd Network Group Ltd (Nasdaq: DUO), a leading property technology company in China. From September 2009 to December 2014 and September 2001 to September 2009, he served as a senior manager of KPMG Huazhen LLP and a member of the audit department of the same, respectively. Mr. Wen received his Bachelor of Arts in English from South China University of Technology in June 2001. He has been a member of Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“CICPA”) since 2009.

Haibo Du, 47
Director

Mr. Du currently serves as the Global Head of Internal Control and risk management of SHEIN, a fast fashion e-commerce company, since September 2021. Prior to SHEIN, he was a director of Odama Group, an e-commerce and neighborhood grocery stores company, where he focused on audit and process planning from September 2020 to September 2021. He served as the Head of Risk Control of Longfor Group Holdings Limited, a real estate development company, from July 2019 to September 2020. From May 2011 to July 2019, he served as an internal audit director of Trendy Group, a fashion retailer. Mr. Du has been a member of CICPA and a Certified Internal Auditor since 2009. He became a Certified Information System Auditor in 2014. Mr. Du received his Bachelor of Arts in Business English in 1998 and Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics in 2001 from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.

Chung Chi Alan Lam, 45
Director

Mr. Lam currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Kailong Group, an asset management fund, where he has been responsible for overall financial management since March 2023. He served as executive director of CBRE Group Inc., a global leading company in commercial real estate services and investment from September 2021 to December 2022. Mr. Lam was Chief Financial Officer of CNLP, a logistics properties development company, from March 2021 to September 2021. From October 2017 to March 2021, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Vanke Logistics, with a focus on financial management. Mr. Lam has been a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKCPA”) since 2005, CICPA since 2015, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) since 2021. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in May 2001.

Mingqi Huang, 40
Director

Mr. Huang currently serves as the vice president at Shenzhen Tengyue Investment Management Co., Ltd., a private equity fund in China, since November 2019. From March 2017 to October 2019, Mr. Huang successively served as the director of investment research department, vice president and president of Guangzhou Bedrock Asset Management Co., Ltd., a private equity and securities management company in China that provides investment banking services for China-based companies. He obtained the Fund Qualification Certificate from China Fund Industry Association in 2016. Mr. Huang received a bachelor’s degree in financial mathematics from South China Normal University in 2007.
