Eugene WONG, 56
Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman
Mr. Wong joined Whiz Partners Inc. in May 2013 and is currently the managing director of Whiz Partners Asia and the partner and chief investment officer of the China Hero Project Fund. Mr. Wong has a wide range of experience both in the financial and gaming industry for over a decade. During his time at Whiz Partners from April 2017 to the present, he became chief investment officer of the China Hero Fund, an incubation program to support Chinese developers to create the next blockbuster console game on the PlayStation platform. China Hero Fund is an exclusive collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment, one of the largest console gaming companies in the world. During his time at Whiz Partners Asia, he also personally oversaw the injection of multiple Japanese technology companies in audio middleware, debugging and testing and graphics renderings into the China market to improve the quality of games. Mr. Wong has also been serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Ace Global Business Acquisition Limited (Nasdaq: ACBA) since its inception on November 2, 2020. ACBA is a blank check company like our company that was formed to consummate an initial business combination, and completed its initial public offering on April 5, 2021. On August 25, 2021, ACBA announced that it entered into a merger agreement with DDC Enterprise Limited, a digital publisher and merchandiser company running the brand DayDayCook, a leading content-driven lifestyle and culinary brand that is now increasingly expanding their business in the sustainable food tech space with its launch of plant-based alternative protein products and food tech accelerator initiatives, enabling a transition of the Asian food supply chain to a more sustainable, low-carbon future. Prior to his role at Whiz Partners, he spent two years as a merger and acquisitions analyst at CDC Software Inc. (Nasdaq: CDCS) from August 2009 to May 2011, where he worked closely with the senior management team to conduct financial analysis, due diligence and deal structuring. Subsequently from August 2012 to May 2013, he worked as an investment analyst at International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group that has climate finance and ESG governance as a strategic pillar, where he gained experience in market analysis and creating valuations to identify favorable investment opportunities. Mr. Wong obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from the MIT Sloan-Tsinghua Program at Tsinghua University in May 2013, and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree in University of Chicago in July 2009.
Nicholas Xue-Wei TAN, 38

Mr. Tan has a wide range of experience in management and operating roles in ecommerce, consulting, consumer retail and energy production companies. He has been a partner at East Ocean Capital, an investment holding company focused on consumer, education and healthcare sectors since June 2015. Mr. Tan has also been serving as Chief Financial Officer of Ace Global Business Acquisition Limited (Nasdaq: ACBA) since its inception on November 2, 2020. ACBA is a blank check company like our company that was formed to consummate an initial business combination, and completed its initial public offering on April 5, 2021. On August 25, 2021, ACBA announced that it entered into a merger agreement for ACBA’s initial business combination with DDC Enterprise Limited, a digital publisher and merchandiser company running the brand DayDayCook, a leading content-driven lifestyle and culinary brand that is now increasingly expanding their business in the sustainable food tech space with its launch of plant-based alternative protein products and food tech accelerator initiatives, enabling a transition of the Asian food supply chain to a more sustainable, low-carbon future. From January 2016 to January 2018, he was the vice president of China Mall Group, South Africa’s largest group of Chinese malls. He oversaw the launch of the 150,000 square meter Home Africa mall in Johannesburg, South Africa. Prior to this role, he was one of the founding team members of Shopee, one of the most popular ecommerce platforms in Southeast Asia. He was the regional operations director of Shopee from April 2015 to March 2016, where managed the business operations and product development across Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. Shopee is headquartered under Southeast Asia-based games and e-commerce conglomerate Sea Limited, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: SE). Mr. Tan also worked as an associate consultant at Bain & Company, specializing in consumer retail and private equity from January 2013 to April 2015. In 2012, he also served as a policy analyst at the Ministry of Health, PRC, where he advised on nationwide health policies and helped author multiple research papers published in leading medical journals. Mr. Tan obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology at Harvard University.

Robert MORRIS, 33
Independent Director
Mr. Morris has had over a decade of experience working in the banking and investment industries with experience in trading convertible bonds. He is currently a portfolio manager at Oasis Management, a private investment fund management company with $3 billion of assets under management. From June 2010 to October 2016, he worked at UBS Investment Bank in both London and Hong Kong. He spent the first 2 years in London where he was a convertible bond trader focused in the technology, telecoms, and real estate market. In June 2012, he moved to UBS’s Hong Kong office where he specialized in high yield credit, distressed convertible bonds, and trading special situation convertibles. He also helped advise bankers and capital market groups on looking for optimal solutions to refinance under difficult financial situations. In 2013, he was promoted to be the associate director where he managed risk management, marketing making and proprietary trading in pan-Asian convertible bonds. Mr. Morris graduated from London School of Economics with a Bachelor’s in Economics with 1st class honors in 2009, and obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license during his career in finance and investment.
Patrick Cheuk Man CHIU, 33

Mr. Chiu has a decade of experience in investment and trading. He has served as a portfolio manager and a Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission (“HK SFC”) licensed Responsible Officer for Type 1, 2, 4, 5, and 9 activities at investment management firm AP Capital Management (Hong Kong) Limited since August 2015, where he covers Asian (including Moscow Exchange and Borsa Istanbul) and South American markets. Prior to AP Capital Management, Mr. Chiu was a portfolio manager at China Avant Capital Limited (now COFCO Asset Management (International) Company Limited, the asset management arm of the food and agriculture company COFCO International) from April 2014 to July 2015. From August 2013 to March 2014, Mr. Chiu was an analyst and execution trader as well as HK SFC Type 1 and 2 licensed representative at brokerage firm De Riva Asia Limited (HK SFC Central Entity Number: ATN568). Prior to that, from August 2011 to July 2013, he was a chief manager at Sunbond Foundation Limited, where he researched rental and trading markets of construction machines, dealt with banks for financing machine rental and trading businesses, and lead a team of sales people and engineers. Before Sunbond, Mr. Chiu was a trader on the Asia Equity Arbitrage Team and HK SFC Type 1 and 2 representative for Barclays Capital Asia Limited from February 2009 to July 2011. Mr. Chiu began his career as an analyst at J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) Limited from June to August 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2008, and went on to earn his Master of Statistics at the University of Hong Kong in 2013, and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Hong Kong Metropolitan University (previously known as the Open University of Hong Kong) in 2021.
Michael L. COYNE, 33

Mr. Coyne has 6 years of extensive experience in capitals markets, business development, and deal origination. He has been serving as Senior Director and Head of Capital Markets at Ingalls & Snyder, an investment advisory firm based in New York, since 2018. He built a capital market investing and underwriting business for a US$7 billion advisor and broker-dealer, targeting listed IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, and block trades in technology, biotechnology, SPACs and closed-end funds. He has participated in hundreds of SPAC transactions through underwriting, merger advisory closing, PIPE, risk capital sourcing, and selling groups. From August 2015 to February 2018, Mr. Coyne served as Vice President and Head of Syndicate at Capital Integration Systems, an online financial services platform based in New York, where he diversified revenue sources by orchestrating the firm’s first international pre-IPO private placement, increasing client secondary equity trade flow by over 500%, and developing relationships with investment banks. Before that, Mr. Coyne spent 7 years at the Army National Guard and the U.S. Army as 1st Lieutenant from February 2012 to July 2019. He served as Executive Officer, Task Force Officer-in-Charge and Platoon Leader and Operations Officer at Army National Guard and U.S. Army, where he developed his strong leadership skills. Mr. Coyne passed the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63, 24, 79 examinations and is a Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) license holder. Mr. Coyne earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University in 2011, and his MBA from Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University in 2019.
