Peter Bardenfleth-Hansen, 50
Co-Chief Executive Officer and Director
Mr. Bardenfleth-Hansen spent almost 10 years at Tesla (from June 2009 to May 2019), during which he held increasingly senior sales roles within the organization. Mr. Bardenfleth-Hansen’s success in drawing attention to Tesla at Copenhagen’s December 2009 Conference on Climate Change, led to his being Tesla’s first hire in Scandinavia, where he successfully launched the Roadster. Mr. Bardenfleth-Hansen progressed through the ranks at Tesla and ultimately became Nordic Director in 2013, overseeing a team of 160 people, with geographic responsibility for Scandinavia as well as the Nordic and Baltic regions. In December 2016, Mr. Bardenfleth-Hansen became the Director of EMEA business development at Tesla where he oversaw all business expansion throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 2015, Mr. Bardenfleth-Hansen was given a 6-month special assignment to Japan where he was tasked with restructuring management. From October 2019 until January 2021, Mr. Bardenfleth-Hansen served as chief growth officer for StreetScooter DPDHL. Mr. Bardenfleth-Hansen is now advising on mobility and invests in numerous private mobility companies, including Fenris Motorcycles and Viggo. Mr. Bardenfleth-Hansen has also been a member of the board of directors of each of Volta Trucks and Zaptec since October 2020 and has also been the chairman of Viggo since May 2019.

Mr. Stone is a Senior Managing Director and President, Operations of The Gores Group. Mr. Stone is a member of the Investment Committee and a member of the Office of the Chairman of The Gores Group. Mr. Stone has worked at The Gores Group for more than ten years, primarily focusing on worldwide operations of all Gores’ portfolio companies and all Gores’ operational due diligence efforts. Kyle Wheeler, 35
President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary
Mr. Wheeler is responsible for leading the negotiation and execution of acquisitions and divestitures at The Gores Group. Prior to The Gores Group, Mr. Wheeler was a Principal at FdG Associates, a private investment firm founded by the Fisher and de Gunzburg families, in New York and Los Angeles, where he served on the board of directors of a number of portfolio companies and was responsible for leading and managing acquisitions and recapitalizations. Previously, Mr. Wheeler was based in New York and was a member of the mergers & acquisitions, restructuring advisory and merchant banking groups at Gleacher Partners, an advisory and investment firm founded by Eric Gleacher, who previously headed global mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Wheeler has extensive financial, investment, transactional and capital markets experience, as well as significant board and governance experience, across diverse industries and in varying macroeconomic environments. Mr. Wheeler currently serves on the board of directors of Cosmo Specialty Fibers, a portfolio company of The Gores Group. Previously, Mr. Wheeler served on the board of directors of Norment Security Group, Sage Automotive and Scovill Fasteners, portfolio companies of The Gores Group. Mr. Wheeler holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Colgate University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Jennifer Dungs, 44
Director Nominee
Dr. Dungs is responsible for the strategic investments and asset management in energy for transport and mobility at EIT InnoEnergy, the EU-backed organization that is one of the most prolific investors in sustainable mobility and energy innovations in Europe. Dr. Dungs is a recognized thought leader in the mobility sector on topics related to sustainability (CO2 strategy, air quality), alternative powertrain technologies (energy storage, heat management), technologies and services (autonomous driving, sharing, mobility as a service, last mile mobility) and business models for digital products and services for mobility and Smart Cities. She has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, including at Ford Motor Company (Detroit from October 2009 to December 2010), BMW (Munich, from January 2011 to August 2014) and Porsche (Stuttgart, from November 2016 to March 2019). Dr. Dungs was also the Director at Fraunhofer (from August 2015 to November 2016), responsible for Mobility and Smart Cities and established a joint lab with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology called Ambient Mobility focused on using big data to understand mobility patterns and create mobility solutions to help revolutionize our cities. She holds an M.S. Chemical Engineering and Ph.D. Chemistry from the Michigan State University.
Robert Foresman, 52

Mr. Foresman has served as a director of Ascendant Digital I since July 2020. Mr. Foresman has also served as a director of each of Ascendant Digital II and Ascendant Digital III since March 2021. Mr. Foresman most recently served as vice chairman of UBS Investment Bank (NYSE: UBS), based in New York, from October 2016 to April 2020. Mr. Foresman was also chairman of OOO UBS Bank in Russia as well as UBS Group country head for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States region (“CIS”) from January 2018 to April 2020. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Foresman was the Barclays Group (OTC: BCLYF) country head (from December 2009 to April 2016) for Russia and the wider region, where he represented and coordinated the activities of Barclays Group in the region, including investment banking and wealth management. Prior to his work at Barclays, Mr. Foresman was deputy chairman of Renaissance Capital (from August 2006 to November 2009), chairman of the management committee for Russia and the CIS at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (from January 2001 to June 2006) and head of investment banking for Russia and the CIS at ING Barings (from August 1997 to December 2000). Mr. Gerhard is a highly experienced technology entrepreneur, innovator and an accomplished Chief Executive Officer and CTO. Mr. Gerhard has served as Ascendant Digital I’s Chief Executive Officer and as a director since March 2020. Mr. Gerhard has also served as a Chief Executive Officer and as a director of each of Ascendant Digital II and Ascendant Digital III since March 2021. Gerhard served as Chief Executive Officer and CTO at Jagex, the UK’s leading games developer and publisher. During his tenure at Jagex, significant value for shareholders was created through the fusion of leading-edge technology, creativity and strategic thinking. Mr. Gerhard has spent the past two decades improving, innovating, developing, investing in, advising, and operating at a strategic board level at a wide range of different businesses sitting at the intersection of media and technology. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of PlayFusion, a developer utilizing artificial intelligence to power the future of enhanced reality entertainment, education, beauty and commerce. Prior to his career in the games industry, he worked in numerous senior technology and cyber security roles at GTech Corporation, Ministry of Data and Serious Global. He currently serves on the board of TIGA, Disruptional (formerly known as PlayFusion) and Beauty Labs International, Cambridge Venture Partners and key prior board experience includes Jagex, Ministry of Data and Serious Global. A member of Founders for Schools, Mr. Gerhard is a regular speaker inspiring young adults to focus on STEM subjects.
Riaan Hodgson, 51

Mr. Hodgson is an experienced executive with extensive financial, technological, and SPAC experience. Mr. Hodgson has served as Ascendant Digital I’s Chief Operating Officer and as a director since March 2020. Mr. Hodgson has also served as a Chief Operating Officer and as a director of each of Ascendant Digital II and Ascendant Digital III since March 2021. Most recently he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of PlayFusion, a developer utilizing artificial intelligence to power the future of enhanced reality entertainment, education, beauty and commerce. From 2008 to 2015, he served as Chief Financial Officer, as well as Chief Operating Officer from December 2012, of Jagex, the UK’s leading games developer and publisher. He currently serves on the board of Disruptional (formerly known as PlayFusion), Cambridge Venture Partners and Beauty Labs International. Previous board positions include Jagex, Business Objects, Crystal Decisions and Seagate Software. Between 2004 and 2008, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Fluency Voice Technology, which was sold to Enghouse, a publicly-listed Canadiancompany. From 1997 to 2004 he worked in senior finance roles in the Business Intelligence sector for Business Objects, Crystal Decisions and Seagate Software, where he was involved in operations and the execution and integration of strategic mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Hodgson trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, where he began his career.
Michel Taride, 64

Mr. Taride is a thought leader in the mobility sector, with a career that spans almost 4 decades. Mr. Taride is the Founder and Managing Director of Orfeo Advisors since December 2020, which provides advisory services to investors, corporations and start-ups in Travel, Tourism and Smart Mobility. Mr. Taride has been a Senior Advisor at Afiniti since April 2019, a company that uses data and Artificial Intelligence to transform the quality of interpersonal interactions, as well as Drake Star Partners since July 2019, a leading tech-focused M&A advisory firm. He is also an Operating Partner at C4 Ventures (since June 2019) and a Strategic Advisor at Knighthood Capital Partners (since May 2019). Previously, Mr. Taride was the Group President of Hertz International (from January 2010 to March 2019), the leading global car rental brand, where he was responsible for all of Hertz’s wholly-owned and franchise operations in approximately 150 countries across all continents other than North America. While at Hertz, Mr. Taride played a leading role in the work on new and disruptive mobility technologies, including by partnering with a smart mobility incubator and several start-ups. Mr. Taride has served on the Global Travel & Tourism Partnership Advisory Board for over a decade (since January 2003) and has acted as chairman for the last five years. Mr. Taride is also an Ambassador for the World Travel and Tourism Council (since July 2019) and a Foreign Trade Advisor to the French Embassy in London (since September 2019). Mr. Taride has served on the board of directors of Altitude Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: ALTU) since December 2020, a SPAC focused on the TravelTech sector.
